I have one. I used it for embroidery machine applique, but once it got put back in the drawer, it stayed there. I just don't do the kind of quilting that would require something that small.

Same here. I think if your iron has sharp edges and a good point it is not needed. I didn't think it got hot enough for pressing the edges of applique around templar with starch.

I made tiny perfect ironing pad by stapling batting and a piece of flannel over a pice of 1X6". I keep it close to the sewing machine so I can use the iron without moving... a good idea for paper piecing!!!!
I also use mine for paper piecing and bias tape. I am going to try your tip for use with the emb machine. Love mine too. My only problem is forgetting to turn it off.

Have one but haven't used it yet. Once my quilting room is set up properly I hope to have it on hand. My husband used it on his leather car seat repair, however!

I had one...returned it. It was a waste of money. I was better off with a travel iron for classes

I have one and I love it. I covered a tv tray to use as a small ironing board and use it next to my sewing machine with a full size iron and my clover mini. I use the mini for seams
