I could not live without mine...it stays in my travel tote, but I do use it at home for paper piecing..
the best thing is to keep a nice tall coffee mug handy to stand it in while using it..keep you from grabbing it the wrong way by accident or laying it down on something that can burn/melt!

I have the small one but stopped using it. I didn't think the smaller one put out enough heat for applique. Maybe there is something wrong with the one I have, but going to purchase the larger Mini Iron II with attachments soon.
