Clover Yellow Fabric Marker Pencil not coming out~~Help, Please?
#1
I marked a quilt with a yellow Clover Fabric Marker pencil that I have never used before.
My lines weren't as straight as I would like so I went to remove it. It has a stiff brush on the end of it.
But, that didn't really do much.
Next I grabbed a wash cloth, wet it liberally and tried to scrub it off. It doesn't look like it is coming off.
Any ideas? If I get it off, all I have to do is finish quilting and binding and I will done. Ugh! :-(

Makes so mad at myself. I always use a water soluble blue marker pen without any problems. Not sure why I grabbed this pencil instead.

I've had some success with "shout". I put it on and gently scrub with a SOFT old toothbrush. let it sit an hour and repeat and wash. dont dry it in the dryer if it has not come out.

A gal who worked in the office with me got ink on her white blouse. The next day she said she got all the ink out. She hand scrubbed the ink with shampoo and it all came out. I'm wondering now what shampoo must do to our hair.

I just heard back from Clover. They suggested using an eraser and if that didn't work to try using laundry detergent.
They also reminded me that if I set it with an iron it will be permanent. I am so thankful that I did not do that.
I put a lot of lines on this quilt and don't want to stretch it out of shape. Best laid plans of mice and quilters.... lol!
To their praise, Clover returned an email to me with in about an hour. I emailed them a message from their website.
Thank you everyone for your help. I will let you know later if it works. Pretty sure I have an old toothbrush.
