I have a pattern for a stuffed whale made out made out of selvege. I plan on trying it even if I have to use strips of fabric.

    What are mug rugs?
    Coasters... only cuter.
They are what you get if a coaster married a placemat! They are around 6"x9", made for a mug and a snack to sit side by side. Because they are larger than a coaster, there is a little more room to get creative.

I started saving mine, but wasn't cutting them wide enough. I am crazy about the whale and the lamp! I only wish I had made the whale 3 months ago! I just led a women's Bible Study on the book of Jonah! How cute would that have been?!?
