I made 9- 6"selvedge blocks today and started 28 more {sewed the first two rows of selvedge down}. I am going to make a quilt to take outside with me when I sit on my swing. May end up making it a little bigger. You start with your foundation square, lay a selvedge piece down then lay another selvedge strip over it covering the raw edge. You are sewing along the finished selvedge edge each time, so no raw edges show...continue until you fill the foundation shape, then trim.

Thanks for the tip, makes it easier to work with the skinnier pieces.
