My friend and I started a quilt guild this year at school, and today the school paper ran a story about us. There is a video and an article.

    http://media.www.dailynorthwestern.c...3661147.shtml.

    Its very exciting.

Very nice article. Wish I had started quilting while I was in college - so many more years I could have quilted. Started sewing very young, just not quilting.

wow, the article said you had done a quilt one hundred feet long! Now that's a lot of work and dedication.
This is awesome. I didn't think there would be enough interest among college age students towards quilting.
The quilting world is so much bigger than it used to be, and I don't mean by participants, but the kinds of quilts being made. By starting a guild, you have contributed to a legacy at your college.
