    Is this what I need to get? The Downy quilt instructions say to use a color catcher when I wash the finished quilt before shipping.

    Yes, that is what I use to wash all my quilts for the first time.

    I use them all the time (regular laundry too). I also put a few in when I gift a quilt/table runner, etc (with instuctions on use).

    I think these are wonderful! I also use them in the regular wash sometimes.

    I get mine at Walmart. They're beside the fabric softeners and dyes at the store I shop at.

    I, too would like to know where to buy them!! Can not find them in the laundry aisle at my super Walmart!

    Most fabric stores have one brand or the other. Just ask at the counters.
