I have been usine Retayne ... time will tell, if it's doing it's job!

Another product that I bought, but not sure about it ...
    Bubble Jet Rinse

Would you please enlighten me about this?
pros? cons? when to use? how?

One catcher that can be used many times is "Color Grabber" I believe. JoAnn's carries it. It looks like a white terry cloth washcloth and gradually gains more color as reused. While it is probably more eco-friendly, I kinda like the new one each wash 'cuz it saves the hunt 'n find before or after it goes thru the dryer.

I use the color catchers too. and have had good luck with them. But I did have an occassion that was not so good. I did have a red fabric that bled very badly in one quilt. At the quilting lines that touched this particular fabric turned pink in the wash. Rewashing did not change the damage from the first time. And I did have color catcher in the wash with it. So, just so you know. But one time in 5 years isn't bad odds.

I love Color Catchers, too. I've put red and black in with lights/whites and no problems, just dark color catchers. I also do several if there is any question about the color in new fabrics.

Speaking of recycling, I just realized they would probably good for shelter pet bed stuffing. I will quit tossing them after use.

I haven't tried the Carbona sheets.

The Bubble Jet Rinse is used to help fix photos. I should have used it on one label I made, but didn't and a lot of the photo washed of the label. I'm not sure what brand that was, because I have used mostly EQ Printables and they didn't wash off.

Great idea to include them with a "gifted" quilt. Thanks for the tip.

I use them all the time as I pre-wash all fabric before using.
