    I will almost always use a dark color for binding. Reasons? #1 - dark colors serve as a frame for your work #2 - bindings get a lot more touching, tugging and pulling than the rest of the quilt, so tend to get dirtier faster #3 - stains won't show as bad on bindings (little ones tend to have the dirtiest fingers at times!

    Personaly I think the light tanish looking would be best. Wouldn't draw attention away from all the work you put into the squares you have done such a nice job on. Can't tell by the picture too much but if the dark maroon is really dark that would be great also. Thought of black as a nice frame but don't see that there.
