    So Pantone announced it http://pantone.com/pages/pantone/pan...pg=21128&ca=10

What do you think? Going to make some radiant orchid quilts?

    or

I laughed at the strap line proclaiming that they are a "global authority". According to? We have a saying, 'Self praise is no honour'.

Not my favorite color at all, but I do think it will be interesting to see it used as accents in combination with greys or yellows.

Yeah, well, they (Pantone) do exert influence on most everything we buy. Right down to the fabric and threads that are even available to us.

I miss Tangerine tango. That was a good year.

    I think it'd look really pretty, alongside the right green . . . .

Well, they are wrong. The color of the year for me is light peach! I have to say that I don't know where this sort of robin egg blue came from, but it is not a color I enjoy. Seems like it popped up everywhere at the same time. This article gives me insight as to how that happens.

Well, I am a real purple fan...more than likely I will buy radiant orchid colored fabric if I see it. Never met a purple I didn't like.
