    Thanks, Linda.

    I've come to the conclusion that cotton sateen is NOT so good for coloring with pencils.

    I think the harder finish of top quality muslin may be the best.

    what a great idea!!! I love your project!! I'm in my late 40s and still love to find a reason to color. Its so relaxing and cathartic (right word?) Thanks for the tip!

    Irena Bluhm said that too- she said she went to Shiva paint sticks on the cotton sateen fabric.
