Can you use them to color on printed fabric?

I believe someone wrote on one of the topics on this board that she had done this. You cannot color/cover a darker color with a lighter color pencil only change the shade depending on the color underneath, I would assume.

Yes, I colored a darker green over a lighter green print and it worked.

Michaels has the 36 count for $22.00 and there is a 50% coupon in this weeks ad and the lady in front of me in line had an online coupon for 50% also.

Sorry the 12 count is $22.00. They also have the larger tins but don't remember the price.

The 12 count tin at dickblick.com is $15.75 + shipping.

    24 - $30.89
    36 - 49.34
    72 - $88.79

This is much cheaper than Michaels unless you have a good coupon. There is a 50% one in this weeks flyer.

I saw a dark quilt top colored with a lighter color pencil at our quilt show this weekend, so it looks like it CAN be done.
