Yes the center block is green and then the next round is pink then purple then red. So on. So that when you look at it it kinda has a dual look.

i'm so pathetic, even with you guys pointing it out i just can't see the around the world pattern in the original jane.

i'm not a very subtle person and most of the time i need something to smack me in the face for me to notice it.

how wonderful, we're starting a Dear Jane Cyber Block Party in January 2010.

you might want to consider joining in with us.

we'll spend 14 months putting together all the blocks/triangles/corners.

Nope, I've started mine. Now, I'm waiting for the cyber sew to start to continue. I think it will be such a blast for us to all be working on them at the same time.

no, some of the blocks you'll have done but i'm sure the whole group will catch up.

    we'll be doing 3-5 blocks a week.

plus you'll be a wonderful source of knowledge, experience, and inspiration because you're already on the path to completion.

The only blocks I have done are the ones for the x-mas swap so don't worry about starting at the begining :D
Klue- I never noticed the color scheme on the original either!! I will have to take a closer look. I wonder if she intended it that way?

I am pretty sure she did. To have it look like that mistakenly would be astronomical odds.

I hadn't noticed that about the colors either. Puts a whole new spin on my thinking about what to buy for it. I'll have to pull it up and really study the color layout. Thanks for pointing it out k
