Another vote for "I love it!" I find it very calm and restful, something to have on the wall in a reading nook or place where you go to unlax and you can look up and take it in at close range. I'd also say put it away for a few months before making any decisions.

I know what you mean about beautiful Morris fabrics. I love them too and look for special patterns to display them before I cut into them. I was excited about the Moda Morris selections that are around but when I look at them. Love the patterns, hate the colors. The rich color tones of burgundy, gold, and blues aren't there. All black and tans. You did a great job on this quilt even though it isn't what you planned. It's a beautiful quilt and someone you know will absolutely love it.
