Concerning Kaaren from The Painted Quilt Blog

I just found out that Kaaren, who writes The Painted Quilt blog and creator of the First Friday Freebies and the Raggedy and Friends embroidered quilt, is having some health issues and will not be blogging for a while.
Another blogger, Allie, is organizing a comfort quilt for Kaaren. Please read Allie's post here:

The deadline is July 15th. If you are thankful for any of Kaaren's free designs, please consider making a block for her quilt. Please email Allie (email address on her website mentioned above) if you are interested.
