    you should always test your batiks no matter where they come from. if they do not bleed then use them, if they do then you should pre-wash, and rinse until the water is clear before using. some fabrics (and not always batiks) run and run and never stop, some don't at all, you should always test for color fastness.

    That's the one, lol. And I have to agree with the poster who said that the directions aren't very clear.
