    I can't tell you not to buy fabric. I just came from Walmart and got alot of fabric at half price and christmas fabric was marked down to about 60 cents a yard.Bad news is they are closing out their fabric. Now all I need is more thread.And connecting threads is the best place I know to go.

    I see that they have two new collections on their site today as well, Cheep Talk and Sip of Summer (although not on sale yet of course.). I have two orders coming, I ordered them on around the 10th of Dec so I'm hoping they will be here soon! I am really curious to see what the quality is like as well.

    My sister bought fabric from CT to make a 'Twisted Sister' quilt (yes, that's the pattern name) for another sister of ours (50th birthday) and the fabric was beautiful. I've also ordered from them and have had nice kits and jelly rolls.

    DH and I just spent the weekend with friends in Wisconsin and went to Walmart in Baraboo, where I found some fleece remnants, one of which made up nicely into a small blanket for a friend's little boy. I purchased an equal amount of coordinating fleece for backing, sewed and flipped right sides out, then quilted on the lines. If the piece were a bit bigger, I'd keep it for myself, but I won't get greedy! ( The Baraboo Walmart has some nice selections of fabric.)

    I am going back to walmart this weekend. I am hoping all there fabric isn't all gone.But with it being half price there probably won't be anything.It doesn't hurt to look.

    I hope you did.....or you are probably kicking yourself right about now.

    I gave in and bought 17 yards and it arrived and one is nicer than the next.
    I have purchased other items before from Connecting Threads but this was my first time ordering fabric from them but it won't be my last.

    Oooh, I didn't know they had two new collections! They are so pretty, too! Good thing they're not on sale yet...I have a hard time resisting!
