I had fun using similar fabric in a twisted log cabin. You can see the results here, http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-81954-5.htm, and the first pages of this link is a tutorial on how to do the technique!

I was thinking the same thing, especially since you don't have much of your cat fabric.
My first thought was to do log cabin with cats as focus.

I think I would make the cats the focus block and sash them then you can make borders using the other fabric made like piano keys.

What about a "Square in a Square" pattern?

Had you thought about one of the BQ patterns from Maple Island? They would showcase your awesome cat fabric in one of the pieces in that block. Google BQ quilt in images so you can see what they look like. Beautiful selection of fabrics, can't wait to see what you decide on!

I think that's one of the cutest kitty fabrics I've seen!
