This looks like perfect fabric to use as the 'view' from an "Attic Window" pattern. I think it would be striking.

How about scanning the cat fabric and enlarging one of the cats about 600%. Then using that as an applique template. Applique the large cats on black fabric and border with batiks.

This website also has 19 pages of cat fabrics and I would assume the same number of dog fabrics.

Wow, pretty fabrics. All sorts of ideas.
Some of the simplest blocks can be stunning with strong fabrics. Square in a Square would aldo work. :)

you could do a large feathered star with the FQ maybe 24 inches in size and then make various star blocks with the strips to go around it.

I agree to use the beautiful cat fabric as a panel and work blocks around it. I just did a quilt by mountainpeek creations Grand Stand pattern #328. I went together fast and really lets the panel show. Now working on Sidelights pattern #302 same designer Kari Nichols.

I would do a puss in the corner block. Use the different colors for the outside. Alternate the colors. I think it wound work up nicely.

Any creative thoughts on how to use them together, and which pattern to try? I'm trying to figure out whether to use the electric blue as a filler or if I should use black against the brights...I know I'll need some more of some color.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!
Whatever, I'd leave huge squares of the cats and finish them out with sashing.
