Has anyone made Cool Ties? If so what is the name of the filler?
    Thanks for any help.

Are those the filled bandana type things you put in ice water to wear at outdoor events, then they fold flat after they dry out?

I want to know too! My friend and I have been wanting to make them for years now.

It's the beads that turn to cold gel when wet. I use to buy them from the florist. I haven't made the ties in years. It takes about 1/2 teaspoon of beads per tie. They are great for putting in soil for potted plants.

I have made these and I use one when I'm working outside with my husband. These can be wrapped around your head also. I'm on my second year with my neck cooler. I went to the links posted above and I make mine alittle different.

I've made those things and I got the water absorb crystals at our local Walmart in the gardening section I believe. Either there or by the flower vases.
