Does anyone have experience with cordless irons? I need to get one asap. My loveable lab keeps getting tangled in the cord and pulling mine off the ironing board.
I've been looking at a Panasonic NI-l71SR.
Thanks for your help!

No I haven't but I have had experience with other cordless tool like my drill and my husbands shop tools. I wonder if it gets hot enough to do the job like a corded one.
Wow, that is a neat iron, I just read it's description. Does everything my Shark does minus the cord. Which is retractable after charging. I am going to put this one on my wish list for a possible replacement if my Shark iron goes belly up.

I have one and the only downfall obviously is that it cools down fast . So you are constatantly putting it back on the charger to get it back up to hot . I am at work and cannot remember the brand of mine, but it was suppose to be a better one :? LOL

I read that Maytag use to have a great cordless iron but now they aren't made like they use to. Have you tried the iron caddy? This is great if the iron is around children or pets. It's here: http://www.clotilde.com/detail.html?...criteria=iron+
Much cheaper then a new iron.
