Wow, mailman just arrived with my magazine. Looking at the periwinkle quilt. Do you have to order the triangle papers from MSQC or can you make your own? Does anyone know the size square you'd have to make to cut in half for the triangles? I already have the wacky web template tool.

FYI for anyone reading a pattern or PROOFREADING anything. Read from the last words on the page to the first word.
I checked paperwork for a major pharnaceutical for more than 30 years. If an item is hand written; it can get interesting.
Most of all, if something catches your eye - check it out.

I also just went to the MSQC site and coundn't find a reference to the mistakes anywhere, I looked under blog & tutorials.
I found several mistakes in the Quilting Quickly magazine last year, I wrote to MSQC pointing them out but never heard back. One was a big mistake in the amount of fabric needed.
But I still love them, mistakes can happen, just wish they would let people know

I found a mistake on the last page: 104. "close binding" Bullet no. 2 says to clip the quilt together to take the pressure off it as you sew. Bullet no 3. says to overlap and trim. These need to be switched. You can't measure and trim after it is clipped together. You need to do that when the binding is laying flat on the quilt.
So happy others are doing some editing. I've edited 5 books now, and know the feel of getting to the end of your rope. "I just can't do this anymore."
