I bought a roll a few years ago... its a OK batting.. not my favorite if you like to preshrink your batting. I just bought my second roll . It seems a bit thin but fluffs up on the first wash. They had it on sale on line for 79.99 with free shipping on their cyber Monday sale. It was a 25 yd by 90 inch.

The thing I noticed about it was it had to be stitched every 2 to 4 inches. So it depends how close to want to stitch. I believe warm and natural says you can stitch up to 10 inches apart.

I was disappointed - I have to prewash it, which I normally do not do. I was very disappointed in how quilts finished up after they were washed. Very flimsy and cheap looking. I did find, however, that it is really nice when used double thickness. Not cost effective, but nice. I will not buy it again.

I did get the Soft'n'Crafty batting from Joann Fabrics online a few months ago. The label has those icons saying machine, needle punched, scrim and 8". Instructions to prewash were not on the label, and I did not see 2" by 4" anywhere. Wonder if there is more than one version of this batting??? I tried it but my machine did not seem to like it until I doubled it up. Then it was alright.
