Well, I have finally managed to cure my problem somewhat. The shocker is the difference between the 2 flannels, being the same except color, but I am getting by. I read some suggestions on here about keeping finger tension, in front and behind, while sewing...it's working. I also lowered the tension even more (3 now) and increased stitch length to 3.5. It was exhausting, but now I am flying through it! I just have to decide whether or not to tear apart the other strips...ugh!

I still want some of the Sta-Flo, so I must look for it tomorrow! Thank you all so much for the tips and tricks! Newbies like me need all of the help we can get!
