Does any one know what that noisy or crackly stuff used in fabric for baby toys? My kids years ago had a 12 x 12 piece of fabric that they loved to play with because it would make noise. Thanks for your help!

I think she literally means a candy bag. The kind that your Halloween candy comes in.

go buy ya a bag of chips, sit and eat the whole thing what is left behind will be your crinkle stuff! lol Or change a bunch of baby diapers and use the plastic that the whipes come in.

My vote after changing diapers for seven years....eat a bag of chips!

The cellophane bags that you can get to put candy in for trick or treaters, if you have any left over, or if you can find anything like that, that crinkles, would work, I think!

in reply to the bag of chips idea, my grandson went through a phase where he, for no discernible reason, was terrified at the sound of the Doritos bag. Just screamed! It sort of extended to regular grocery bags (there's an idea) to some extent, too.

Um............I don't know what that is however, when I made my bargello jacket I used paper back iron fusable to stabilize some silk I had to use............well I wasn't able to remove all of the paper due to the narrow strips (if you have ever done bargello you know what I mean)......therefore I make a krinkling noise with some movement.........I hope people don't think I am tooting...........sheesh..........but I do like the green crinkle silk...................oh yea.............calla http://www.quiltingboard.com/tpr?p=1679259&t=68418

I've made the little books with the "crackling" paper inside. I used potato chips bags, cut them to size, wiped them clean and dried them. They worked great. Plus, I got to eat the chips!! :)
