    Thanks for this post! I have been wondering about the floppy nature of my cone thread - just put an old standard empty thread spool over my thread stand spool pin and I now have a much steadier cone spool!! Love the collective wisdom of this group!

    I slip one of the empty orange aruilfil spools into large center spools.

    I wonder why they make them that way, do they really think we think we are getting a lot more thread?

    Nice save, but silly me would have gotten a water bottle clamp for a bike, put it in one of those white rails on the carriage shown in the picture.
