I love the sewing notions fabrics too. Several years ago McCalls Quilt Magazine had a cat pattern that was on the cover. Each block was 1 cat. A friend and I got together and made a ton of cats - made 2 of each cat with a different sewing notions fabric. Then we traded with each other and ended up with every block on the quilt a different print. I think we had 72 blocks. Put a fence post border on it so the cats could sit on the fence at night. LOL. They turned out really pretty we thought. I ended up making several of them out of other fabrics for people as well as a king size for my daughter. I still have tons of sewing notions fabrics. They make great totes too.

The sewing notions fabrics are one of my favorites like I was just talking about. My other favorites are Laurel Burch fabrics and Batiks. I'm a big fan of bright colors and prints.

Blues and Greens. Cool, leafy batiks are my favorites.

First and foremost Tea pots and Tea cups. But, for Holiday fabric, anything that has snow, trees or bushes, and bright red Cardinals.

Yep, Sherri I agree with you and would add florals to the mix. My stash sometimes looks like a garden from the past.
