Has anyone made Jenny Doan's crazy quilt using scraps and the templates? I just order the templates, seems to be easy and you use up all your scraps. Over the past 1 1/2 years I have accumulated a lot of scraps, probably can make 6 to 8 quilts out of this. Plan on trying this out later today, will keep you posted.

Saw her video and love the idea, just not sure why you need the templates. Can't you just cut a five sided piece for the center and go from there?

I would think so, actually thought the same thing when i watched the video. Maybe for the challenged? LOL

I have the templates and have made several quilts with them. Did not take photos, duh. I also just freehand the blocks. Both ways work equally well.
