    Smile Creative Festival purchases

The Creative Festival is being held this weekend in Toronto, so of course, I just had to go on the first day. Check out my buys! The fat quarter bundle in the front of the picture is Kaffe Fasset's fall 2012 collection- it just jumped into my bag- after I paid for it of course. I could have spent so much more money but had to put an elastic band on my wallet, LOL. Oh the inspiration! I bought a wool applique kit to try out the technique too, never done that kind of handwork before. I replaced my Gingher thread snips that dissappeared somewhere, a few patterns, a Fons and Porter design wall, 2 Rapid Fire rulers, a small tumbler die for my GO, 2 other interesting fat quarter bundles and some odds and ends too. Had a great day, and my DH was glad that I spent some money on myself. Nice man!

looks like you got some cool stuff. My husband bought me those same snips at the show i went to on thursday, and he thought of it all by himself, just because he heard me use the word snips a couple of days before. How happy am I that he actually listens to me? ;-)

On my Ipad I can enlarge your pictures. Looks like you got a new pattern for Twister, the add a quarter ruler, ruler for Lemoyne Star and the Rapid Fire Hunter's Star pattern. You have some very nice bundles of fabric too. Nice haul!

My first thought was, "What kool stuff". Let us know how you like the rulers. I am thinking about getting them myself. BrendaK
