Pale sage and pale yellow, or stay with all white.

Beautiful blocks. I would audtion with all of the above colors suggested and figure out what looks the best. Using the colors in her wedding is a good idea.

A ribbon border would look nice.

What a lovely gift! Whatever you do with it, I am sure that it will have special sentimental value to her with having 2 generations working on it for her.

Because the design is delicate I would go with the white so your eye is more drawn to the detail on the blocks rather than the borders. They are so pretty and what a special gift.

I would use a white on pale pink print for the sashing. Then maybe an outerborder of a floral that pinks up all the colors.

I personally do not like wall hangings, since I love things with a function! So, my vote is to add enough white, perhaps tone on tone white, with maybe a very small motif in each corner to mimic the inside embroidery, to create a quilt!! Wow, your DM IS terrific and amazing!!

WEDDING QUILT = white sashing. I agree with susiesallaboutquilts.
edited to add: also like sahm4605's idea.
I forgot to say I LOVE IT!

That's a good idea. Some delicate vines on white sashing would pull the blocks together without adding clutter or take away from the flowers already there.

Be sure to show us the final product.
