    I did a search and saw a lot of threads on this topic but I didn't see one that asked this question:
    Could you use the Cricut to cut freezer paper, fusible interfacing, wonder under, Steam a Seam or any of the other iron-on stabilizer for applique? Instead of cutting the fabric itself? Seems like this would work. Has anyone tried it?

    That's an interesting idea, I will have to give it a try. You would still have to snip the shapes out but it may give more options for tiny shapes.

    LOL I am going to my neighbors this week and try the freezer paper for hexagons... I will let you know

    Yes you can. probably just have to do it at a slower speed I think. You can cut just about anything on the cricut.

    My daughters boyfriend got her a cricket for Christmas and she loves it. I personally haven't seen it. Would be cool it it did.

    I have a "Big Shot" paper cutter, and that is a good idea. I'll have to try it to see if it would work too.
