Yeah for me! I received the cricut machine for mothers day. Does anyone own one? It's one of those gifts you like but feel guilty about because it's not used everyday. I only cut a few small items out just to make sure it worked. I will have time to play with it more tomorrow.

No, I don't have one, but though about. Have fun learning what sizes and shape your newbie can cut.

My friend has one and she has done amazing things with hers. She loves it! What a neat mother's day gift. Very thoughtful!

Have you cut fabric with it yet, my MIL has one, we are going to take a class together on it, I do scrapbooking and quilting, heard the cricut can cut some applique shapes out of fabric, saw a tute on youtube about it. I am getting the sizzix soon which will be good for dual duty as well.Let me know how you like it

Dolphyngyrl, it does cut fabric, it's the only reason I got it, I have a girlfriend who let me borrow hers so I could decide if I wanted one. I also looked into the sizzix but they didn't seem to have a lot of shapes available yet. I'm sure they will. My quilt buddy owns a accuquilt so I decided this cricut would be a better addition for us. Im not sure about small details, I have done dog shapes, dog bones, flowers, hearts, all 2" or bigger. If too much detail like it can do on paper, may be too hard for me to appliqué. I'm just not that amazing (yet, hahaha)
