Default Crown Jewel with the Pearl Frame/ along with the Quilt Motion

I have an opportunity to purchase the Crown Jewel with the Pearl frame along with the Quilt Motion for the price of $9,000.00 for the Crown Jewel with the Pearl Frame and a price of $3600.00 for the Quilt Motion which brings it to the total of $12,600.00 for the two. I am wondering if this is a good deal. I have never did a full quilt on one of these machines so would appreciate the input from the ones that do have the experience with this. Thanks very much.

$3600 is a good price for Quilt Motion. Don't know prices for Crown Jewel with a Pearl Frame. Contact a dealer and see if they will quote a price. Or try to find prices online.

What size throat does the Crown Jewel have, assuming that is the machine you will use for quilting?
Being a Bailey owner and knowing they make, 13" 15" and 17" - for a whole lot less $$$, my comment would be
unless you are getting a L-o-n-g arm....26" or so, you are spending a lot of money and not getting a good amount of quilting space. . I would never be satisfied with a 9" arm for quilting. It is just too limiting, especially after the quilt is rolled on the take-up bar. If you have that kind of money to spend, go for something bigger...so you won't be wanting to Up-grade later.

I just got a quote on an APQS Lucie, 26" for $10,500. New incl. shipping and classes. It is rated at the top. Fabulous stitch regulator on it.

I paid $8500 for my Jewel (not Crown) and frame from a dealer. It was the floor model and had only been used to quilt 1 quilt and taken to 2 shows...

Where I live the Crown Jewel with the Pearl frame is $8,000.00. Quilt motion is about the same price. Good Luck.

I have a Crown Jewel with a Grace Majestic frame that was 10,000 new last April. It also included the channel locks, leaders, microhandles and the 4 day class in St. Louis with Kay Caps Cross.
