    Billy, your quilt is lovely. Looks really cozy and cheerful. Hope your son enjoys it.

    Crumb blocks can be made of any kind of leftovers from other projects. You can make small blocks or larger ones. squares, triangles, any shape you like. The teeny pieces work well on corners. You are the artist, do what appeals to you.

    Now I know what to do with al my scraps that are not cut into 2 and one half inch squares. someething else to make.

    Until I got on this website, I thought crumbs were something left on the bread board!! Thanks so much for all the happy colourful ideas. Everyone's quilts are gorgeous! I am going to try this next, because it seems to be something you can take your time with - pick it up and put it down in between making traditional blocks. Love it.
