I made my DH a pieced flannel quilt and used a flannel sheet as the backing. It hangs on the back of his recliner in the basement family room (which is somewhat cool) and he and his dog cuddle up and watch TV or read. (the DH watches TV or reads, not the dog!)

What do your husbands do with theirs?
Same here! My husband loves sleeping under one, but the only time I've seen him use one not on a bed is when he is sick. He is not a napper, usually only sleeps upstairs in bed. He also fully supports my quilting, though & we have a lot of quilts around the house. I think his favorite quilts of mine to use are in our camper.
You have a husband that doesn'T nap and actually sleeps in his bedroom????!!! Do you know how rare that is??!!LOL

My husband asked me to make him a lap quilt, for his chair. I did for Christmas, and he loves it and used it last night for the first time.

Several years ago my DH asked me to make him what we call his 'life quilt'. We planned it together. I made various blocks that represent different things in his life using a variety of techniques. I loved working on it especially since it challenged me greatly! DH uses it to cuddle up in and snooze in his recliner.

my hubby cuddles up with his when he's watching football (or any other sports on tv) he uses it on the couch when he doesn't feel good. my son's and nephew use theirs all the time---never leave home with out it-- my sister's hubby keeps his in his truck...takes it hunting, camping...everywhere...all the men in my world LOVE their quilts and use them ALL THE TIME...much more than the girls who seem to think there is some sort of (propriety) involved.

My husband loves his "coffee" quilt. He uses it in his "man's" chair when somewhat chilled. Check out pic of him and his quilt. Of course he is a "starbucks" fan.

I was just telling my husband about a quilting friend who made everybody in the world a quilt and now that she has passed away her husband doesn't even have one for their bed.

My DH keeps his in his home office to cover up with on cool evenings. I made his quilt for him because he mentioned that it would be nice to have one . ;)
