    So...after you sew the geese...do you applique the strip of them down or what?

    Hi Joy,
    The pattern I have is for 17" blocks with a star in the center of the circle. The book is Big Book of Scrap Quilts, the pattern is called Dizzy Geese. I haven't made it but it's inching up on my project list.

    No I piece them into the project. That is why you see the chalk marks on my jacket. When you draw the original curve you have a template for how to join, just add your seam allowance. I mark the seam line of the curve I want to attach on the wrong side of the fabric with chalk or very light weight fusible interfacing,
