Cut finger on rotatry cutter

I did this last fall, and nearly severed a large chunk of my pinky. The next day, it was still bleeding, so I went to the doc. It should have had stitches, but it had been more than 18 hours, so they couldn't stitch due to possible infection. They butterflied it, and it hurt a good couple of weeks. I have a scar there now. OUCH!

Wow, did I!! I was demonstrating to a newstudent the proper method of hqandling a cutter. When I laid it down, the blade was still a tiny bit exposed and you guessed it---
OUCH. "Well that's why we always close the blade" SHE is very careful.
