    Default Cuttin' up!

Well, I finally tacked a small pile of leftovers from some recent projects. I decided to cut all the fabric in the stack into 5" nickels and the rest into 2 1/2" strips. Anything else 2" or larger goes into the mailing box for an interested QB member when it's full. Anything smaller is getting tossed for now, but I'm thinking about saving it to make pet beds that I've heard about.

So in that process, I came across some orphan blocks that I determined would make a decent premie quilt (18"), so I whipped up the top (still need to quilt and bind). Then I found more pieces that could be bordered and used for 5 more premie quilts. Those are cut and piled ready to be sewn up.

All inspired by posts here. Thanks quilters!

They are beautiful, and no one would ever guess any are made from orphan blocks! Good job!
