cutting gloves
#42
I've never cut my fingers while cutting fabric. I have, however, cut myself when I used my other hand to pick up or put down something and the cutter got in the way. I'm not looking at the cutter in my (left) hand, I'm looking at the other (right) hand. That's right...I'm a lefty! I have thought about the glove, but $25 is a lottttt of money.

On this board nearly everyone was of the same opinion about wearing gloves I have cut with a rotary cutter for years and never had a serious cut a little nick or two but wouldn't feel the fabric and the fold right with gloves on so I just try to be careful. Have you thought of the difference we have with that rotary cutter, my aunt and mom quilted back a generation and knew neither the rotary cutter or sewing them on the machine I still treasure what they made but enjoy the time saver of cutting and sewing my way.
