Fons and Porter sell a LOT of sewing notions, and try to promote them when they have a show. I personally do not need every notion that they have, if I tried to cut with gloves on, my cuts would be awful. Thanx but no Thanx

No, I don't wear a glove. I have not cut my fingers yet. (Knock on wood!)

I do use the Klutz glove 99.9% of the time. I am at the age (65) when the skin becomes thin and easily damaged. I am sorta klutzy so I thought the glove would be a good idea. I only really started quilting a couple years ago and as soon as I started using the rotary cutter, I got the glove. Better safe than sorry!

No I never use gloves when cutting fabric. Just take my chances.

Never have bothered with them. Never have cut myself with rotary cutter.

No gloves here, but very careful. I have a Fiskars ruler which is a cuttr, and last week curled my index finger over the COVERED blade and got it trapped, the moment of panic was when I could not pull my finger back out, the blade was cutting into the fingernail. Was about to call hubby for help when I decided to pull up very hard on the blade guard, and whew the finger escaped. I had visions of the tip of my index finger going away!!! Now Iam SUPER careful.:)

Fran, I just noticed your Avatar quilt. It looks like the same pattern that I am working on in flannel. Lost my directions. Does it have a name? Thanks. Yolanda
