I have picked up most of my rotary cutting tools at yard sales and the like. One of them is a "Recollections" brand cutting mat, it is pink. Judging by the markings on it, I suspect it was designed for scrapbooking, as it has things like 5" x 7" and 8" x 10". The thing is, it appears to show no wear from the cutter, while a new June Taylor mat does show wear after I have cut in the same place many times.
Has anyone come across this? It's about 12" x 12" so I use it a lot when cutting scraps, not so much for larger pieces. I wonder why it is more durable than the ones made for fabric.

Hi, this sounds like one I saw on sale that was to be used by the Cricut. I did I not purchase it but the label said self healing cutting board. I will check for the brand.
