Default D9P is it a trational pattern?

I'm donating a quilt to a local charity that raises money for children needing school clothes. I am including the pattern name would I call it a traditional disappearing 9 patch?

I'd call it a new take on a traditional pattern. I'm a relatively new quilter, but I don't look at a D9P as a traditional quilt, but a Nine Patch is.

I would call it Disappearing 9 Patch, a variation on the traditional quilt block.

    Hope that helps!

disappearing 9-patch is a new 'spin' on a traditional block (9-patch) it is not the traditional version.

Thanks - that is what I thought. I'll called it a variation on the traditional 9 patch. Appreciate always getting the information I need.
