I couldn't download the program. I could look at the templates and the rotary cutting ones.

The rotary cutting one....there's a 3 1/4 " piece and a 2 7/8". Are those strips as long as the WOF? Also, if they are, am I then cutting them down to 3 1/4 and 2 7/8" squares? I probably would then be cutting them on the diagonal for the HST.

Am I understanding all that correctly? If that's true, I'm not sure that's more difficult that some of the other cutting instructions for the rest of the blocks. In fact, many of the other blocks involve 2 7/8" squares.
You're cutting strips for the "A" triangles that are 3 1/4 wide, WOF, then subcutting into 3 1/4 squares, subcutting again into triangles.

For the "B" squares, 2 7/8" wide WOF strips, subcut into 2 7/8 squares.

But I do really like the suggestion to just cut a titch more so it's easier to measure and cut, and take a seam a titch more than the 1/4".

The EQ6 project file can only be opened in EQ6, it isn't the program itself. The only math I had to do was to multiply the size of the square (12") by how many squares in the block (5) to get the grid (60). The printouts are just File-Print and pick what you want printed! It is awesome, eh?

I used to figure, draw, and stress. Now I just use a calculator and divide what you want by the size you have. Then use the copy machine to enlarge or shrink. Couldn't be simpler!

The only thing I'm worried about cutting a bit bigger pieces, is if I trim down...I worry about cutting the tips off my triangles. I trim down too much and when I sew them together my triangles won't have tips...Sure gave me lots to think about.

And dream about...my next birthday I'm going to be having pictures of the EQ6 packaging taped all over the house! He'll have no choice but to buy it for me!
