Try swapping 6 and 7 around before you make a final decision. I think the quilt will be gorgeous either way.

I agree with Kathome---#6 is too light and the print too small. All your other fabrics are rather large prints and look great and #6 really stands out.

Thanks everyone! I made a couple of moves. If this was going to be my quilt I would have left the purple strip. Purple is my favorite color and I like that my eye was drawn to it. It is weird how the whole quilt can be red, but my eye only sees the purple.

I really hope this turns out looking red and not pink. It occurs to me that people who like red must HAVE to like pink, but that doesn't make any sense :shock:

I am off to sew, sew, sew. Later I have to go the Hershey Chocolate World, which might be really fun if I could eat chocolate.

I should have something more to post tonight - I can't wait, I really, really hope it looks like want I want.
