I don't know how the Dayton store got it back. It used to have a decent fabric dept., then with the remodel it was taken out and the precuts came in. Soon it's back to fabric on the bolt. I'll let folks know how it is.

the wal-mart in our area will close their fabric dept in 2012. I sent a note to the corp office and customer service here, but who knows.

I chatted with an employee at our Walmart last night and he said we are not getting the fabric department back. I am not a happy quilter.

WalMart in Sumter SC is also getting fabric back. They have some on the shelf with more coming in each day. Saw a familiar face behind the cutting table this week. We are thankful for the return.

I was in the Newark, OH Walmart last night and saw they were remodeling an area where is appears that fabric is going back in. They even had a cutting table there, waiting for fabric to be cut on it.
