I posted the other day about little man wanting a sewing desk. Well last night my 16 yr old DD decided she wants to make a quilt for her boy friend for Christmas. Just one more to go and I will have all of them quilting.YAY!! I am on a roll now.

yep hide the stash! DD 11yo has made one quilt and wants to do another. Letting her into my tiny stash is hard!

I figure I will never be able to use all my stash so why not share it with them.

Sometimes the interest comes with a need. That's how my DD got interesting in sewing. She had learned to sew at school and at home, but she didn't "want" to sew until years later when her little girl needed clothes. And now she does gorgeous heirloom sewing.
