Looks good. I think your one of those people who work well under the pressure of having to have it finished. I've done that sometimes and I'm a nervous wreck trying to finish but then can relax again. I do like to just work along but I think the pressure works on me also and maybe on you. Your quilt looks very nice and you s/b pleased to give to your friend. She'll love it. Have fun. Sue, P.C., Fl

Adorable!!! She is going to love this, and her baby will too! I do the same thing and promise myself I won't ever do it again, but I do. I'm getting better at it. In fact, I finished my daughter's birthday quilt and gave it to her at Easter!

Stop kicking yourself! Your muse took her time but that's what was needed to get the quilt just right. It's delightful, AND got done in plenty of time. It will be months before it will be cool enough for this springtime baby to actually need a warm quilt, and even longer before he will be able to recognize the trucks, cars and choochoos. Everybody will be thrilled with it. What a sweet friend you are to put so much thought and effort into a baby gift!

I hate it when I do that to myself! I can't blame anyone else, I'm the guilty one.. When I'm working like that, I'm always afraid something will happen, like my machine breaking or something that will make me miss giving a gift when I should.. I try to do things in a more timely manner now.. I've had enough of those panic sessions...
