I've been watching Debbie's progress in getting her fabrics contained - and I asked a friend for help.

She is on the board and is coming over today.

She is amazing at organization and keeping me focused.

I will share before and after pictures later :)

    I'm sooooooooo excited!!

my cutting table is stacked so high that I can barely see across it - I will get so much more work done when I have more than a 18" corner to work with.

I have the same bug from Debbie. I have next week off for spring break, will visit my son and DIL for three days in Indiana (near Shipshewana, which has quilt shops) then the rest of the week I'm weeding out the sewing room. My son and DIL just found out they are expecting a girl. I haven't got to sew too much for girls, after raising boys, so I'm sure I'll come home from Shipshewana with pink material.

oh gosh it is amazing how much can get done with the help of of another person! I would have given up after 30 minutes because I get side tracked and overwhelmed. I'm lucky to have a friend locally that understands me

I have a huge box set aside for PIF's along with a box to list on the board.

I still need to spend some time to find places for the items that didn't have a place so they were always on my cutting table. But I can see the top of my table now.. whoo hoooo...

I'll post pictures later when I get on my desktop.

my tabletop before & after.. still needs some work but getting there

well... looking at the pictures doesn't do it justice - the first picture there are stacks and stacks of fabrics and things, now there are things scattered... there is a huge difference if you saw it in person, I think I can get this finished by tomorrow.

    BEFORE.... scary!!

OMgosh, I thought I gave you "the" bug. LOL. Have fun going thru you stuff. I've had to put a hold on mine for now but it is almost there. Keep up the good work, one day at a time, no rushing a good thing.
Gmaybee - Hello again. I am so enjoying your sunflower pincushion. I's not on the shelf in my sewing room yet but still right here on my desk for me to look at. I put a tag wtih your name on it so I will remember who gave it to me when I needed those "sunny days" you mentioned.
Cathylynn - So glad you took time to post too. I love this board as well.
Kris - thanks for sharing and "coming out" of the sewing room. LOL. Just love it.
