a long arm quilting machine is primo - but I don't really have room to set it up. Embriodery machine would be fun, but I've lived this long without it. I think I'll choose a new kitty, and perhaps a cleaning lady.

I like imagining sitting around a large table having a feast and talking quilting/sewing with all my ancestors finding out how they quilted and when they learned to quilt. Being a newbie to quilting I'm really fascinated by the rich history of quilting. My Dad has 2 quilts (he's 84)... one was done by his grandmother and the other by his mother...so they're pretty old!!! Would love to meet the fine women who made them and hear what life was like for them way back when!!!
Besides that, underneath the tree I'd like some soft worn denim (from old jeans) and old men's cotton shirts so I can make some quilts for my 3 sons.

I have all I need. My wish would be for peace. Peace with my disturbed neighbor. Peace with the universe. The return of common sense to the world. That all your wishes are granted. :)

Definetly a LA machine & a Go cutter! I have a Viking on a frame but it is a short arm. It is great but you just get started & you have to stop to advance it. I'm not complaining a bit though. I love it & am used to it now. Also would be nice to be able to buy lots of fabric whenever I wanted to! Just hit those sales! LOL
