I already know what Santa is bringing me. DH and I were in Lancaster and stopped at a local Amish cabinet maker. The gentleman had the most beautiful things. We bought our granddaughter a wooden high chair for her dolls. Then we found a sewing machine cabinet...Merry Christmas to me!
At the moment I am using a sewing/craft table that I bought at Joann's when they closed the local store. There is no storage.
This man does fabulous work. They use all solid Oak or Cherry..your choice. Brass handles and hinges..and the drawers are all dovetailed. Not a nail in the entire piece
    Peace and Blessings,

    Peace and Blessings,
That sounds so beautiful. Be sure to post a picture. We have an Amish furniture shop in a town that's close by. I never thought of them making sewing machine cabinets. I'll have to stop in to look.

Please post pictures when they come in. Congratulations to you.
I have put my wishes on her already but I must admit that I have everything that is important. A loving family, 4 wonderful grandkids, my faith and my health.
thank you for who ever put this thread up. It is so fun to see what other peoples dreams are.

A new set of dishes that I saw at World Market. They are from Portugal and have a beautiful design. I didn't get them because I already have so many dishes, I'd have to get rid of something. My dishes obsession rivals my quilt one.

Love your dogs. We have owned 3 Bassett hounds. Or should I say they owned us.
We don't have one right now because when we went to adopt a new dog we couldn't find one. So right now we have a lab mixed with a Tabetin Terrior. We call him our mini lab because he looks like a lab but is about 30 pounds.
Good luck with your job hunting.

I would like someone to come in and design me a great quilting room with lots of storage, soft comfortable furniture, cable tv and great music accustics.
    I don't want much. Right?

A Bernina 830 (to go with my Artista 730), a longarm machine, Koala sewing cabinet suite and lots of fabric and notions...sounds a little greedy, but it is my dream! :-D

Improved economy so our business would do better. Personally I would love to adopt a new son or daughter. When it comes to quilting a long arm maybe?
